Exeter Health Resources and its operating affiliates -- Exeter Hospital, Core Physicians, and Rockingham VNA & Hospice -- are "United in Wellness." This simple, but important, phrase embodies our health system's collective efforts to improve the health of the communities we serve.

This site currently accepts small grant applications and sponsorship requests for Exeter Hospital. For requests related to other affiliates, please first contact the Community Impact Officer.

Grant Eligibility
Exeter Hospital is committed to investing in the communities we serve. Applicants must be recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Organizations are eligible to apply for one grant per calendar year, but may also apply for sponsorship support. If an organization has received funding in the previous year or has an active grant, a grant report must be submitted to be considered for additional funding.

  • We support events and/or organizations that primarily serve Rockingham County, NH.
  • We consider sponsorship proposals from a wide variety of organizations. Preference is given to projects and activities that fit within the priorities outlined in our Community Needs Assessment. These priorities include mental health care access, youth suicide/substance abuse prevention, healthy lifestyle/nutrition education, and support for the needs of seniors.
  • Organizations must complete the application completely and provide all required supporting documentation.
  • Funding requests will be accepted at any time and reviewed quarterly. Please apply a minimum of two months or more in advance of the event or program.
  • Exeter Hospital will fund one-time activities such as a 5k that benefits a non-profit organization, or an on-going series of events such as a farmers’ market.

Exeter Hospital charitable contributions funding may not be used for:

  • Funding for individuals or families
  • Individual fundraising initiatives (for example, sponsorship of a community member’s fundraising goal for a local 5k)
  • Religious organizations and church programs or events
  • Public or private schools
  • Capital campaigns or building projects
  • In general, we do not fund political, labor, or fraternal organizations; political candidates; civic clubs; municipal, county, or state government
